Teeth!

I am struggling majorly to get my son to brush his teeth. He’s always been difficult and though I started at 6 months, he’s almost 2 and a half and I’m battling every day. I barely get the toothbrush into his mouth. That aside, he makes his body stiff, clenches, hits, kicks, starts screaming to a point where he even stops breathing! I’m at wits end. I don’t know what more I can do. I don’t even put toothpaste on as I know it’s more of a trigger. His teeth are just getting worse and worse by the day.. any tips? Pls help. Has anyone else faced this? My husbands being really 🙄🙄🙄 and just doesn’t believe that I struggle to battle a 2 year old. Help! (or pls just tell me I’m not the only one lol)

I’m dealing with the same thing with my daughter, she absolutely hates it!! You’re not alone girl lol

Omg literally the same with mine! My daughter was soo good but my 2 year old son never opens his mouth up I have to pin him down to get the brush in his mouth 🙄my dentist said cut sugary stuff completely especially juices but that’s hard too 😭 his front two teeth has got white decay so i try my best to brush and cut chocolate and sweets so let’s see 😔

My son is the same. We go through phases of it being okay to having to pin him down. He likes to brush himself but obviously doesn't brush well. I have found watching a song on you tube about brushing teeth helpful.

I've had this on and off with my 2 year-old aswell. We found watching the Duggee brushing teeth song seemed to help. She also needs her own toothbrush in her hand. I now brush her teeth and then she brushes her teeth and we sing the song or have it paying on YouTube.

We love the Hey Duggee tooth brushing song too! 🎶 We just try to make it as fun as possible.
