Bi- racial hair!

I need help, Mamas! My daughter is bi-racial and has amazing curls. My current issue is finding a really great pomade to help with fly-always. I need something strong that will work for her ponytails, braids and especially her bun for dance. I’m currently using Cantu pomade and it lasts about an hour. Help!! Any ideas? Products? Tips?

Hey, curly kids is a really great brand I use it on my daughter works wonderful. Maybe this will help.

I asked a few friends who have bi racial kids since I have a biracial son. They told me Shea Moisture is good, they have for babies and one for kids.

Haha I went to buy some today but Walgreens had them on clearance I was too late

I love Shea Moisturizer for myself 🤣😆 it’s bomb

We LOVE Shea moisture. We mostly use their products- but no pomade! I need a great pomade for her!

There is a brand called “mixed chics for kids.” They will have multiple products for all your needs

You can use a water in a small spray bottle with coconut and lavender. Also the Shea moisturizer and a little gel!!!

Miss Jessie’s multi-cultural curls (curl cream) available at Target. It’s the only stuff I use because it holds without having that crunchy feeling.

Any edge control ❤️

Definitely a mild edge control like cream of nature and some old school “JAM” from the beauty supply. Add jam in your palm and add a little water to the brush and your bun will stay and it doesn’t harden or leave residue in her hair!! I have the curliest hair of all! My mom used the old school stuff !!

Shea moisture, mixed chicks, curly kids keep my mixed hair tamed

Devacurl products my niece has similar hair (I looked at your pics) and they all work well. In particular the arch angel and the no poo shampoo and conditioner.
