Does reflux ever goes away?

My little one has quite bad reflux, we’re using “special formula” (as I like to call it 😄) but it still seems to be there as he keeps throwing it up… Just want to know if it ever goes away, and if it does, is it usually when they go on solids? TA in advance

My daughters went away when she was around 10 months so it does eventually! She does also have CMPA and throwing up was a regular part of our daily life for a good 5 months. Does he have any symptoms of CMPA?

Whatever people say about it magically disappearing once they start solids, don’t believe them. Depends on the child and the severity of it. All 3 of my boys have suffered, 10 year old was medicated and on a restricted diet till he was 6. Middle is 8 years and still suffers and is medicated, youngest was off his meds at 18 months. My friends daughter was off her meds just before a year old. All so different x

My boy is 8 months on actual solids and still has it, he can drink sips of water but if I give him anything other than his special reflux milk he'll throw it up lol
