A robe. I don’t know if your breastfeeding or not but it made it so much easier for me to stay cool with all of the skin to skin and easy access to my breast to nurse.

Yeaa I’m going to breastfeed! I just bought some robes & def will take them!

Tank tops, fuzzy socks, bathroom essentials, chap stick, phone charger, pillow, snacks, and a going home outfit. They’ll have everything else.

I brought a bunch of things and really didn’t use any of it. Bathroom toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, face wipes etc), slippers, clothes to go home in, baby clothes, hair ties, phone charger...I wore the maternity hospital gown and what not because it was easier and things get...umm messy lol I brought my own robe but never wore it since the gown opened in front.

They provided me with a couple kimono style tops for baby but she was in her diaper the whole time at the hospital and swaddled or on my body for skin to skin. I brought a newborn outfit and a 3 month outfit. Nothing too snug or complicated because of the little cord they have left.

For the baby clothes what all did you bring? I don’t wanna over due it lol... did they provide onsies at least?

If you are planning to BF I highly recommend bringing a breastfeeding pillow (I loved mybreastfriend) and nipple cream!!! Also loved having my own Pillow for myself and hubby.

The hospital I went to had everything and if it wasnt in the room, they could get it from their "stash". I was only there one night with baby and left by 2pm the next day. They had nipple shields, gowns (there's a lot of blood and I didnt want to take home something bloody just to look pretty for the nurses), pillows, blankets, baby blankets, kimono baby shirts (I loved bc of the belly button), diapers, wipes. I took a backpack: bag of toiletries, 2 nursing tanks, 2 yoga leggings that fit while I was pregnant (your belly isn't going to deflate 100% overnight), 1 nicer cotton tee to go home in, bathing suit(to be in the tub which was 100% useful bc that's where my water broke and I wasnt ok with being naked around everyone), nb and 3 month going home onsie. My husband took a backpack with (2)changes of clothes and snacks and the phone chargers.

Sounds silly but I sent my partner over aldi to get so decent toilet roll😂

Definitely nipple cream to start breastfeeding off on a good note. Also take things to help you relax and set a nice scene, for both the delivery room and the recovery room. For example, battery operated candles, pictures of family, speakers to play music, we even had my parents bring a lamp to the recovery room because the lighting was really harsh. Honestly though, they have everything you could possibly need there. I waaaay over packed. It's annoying to over pack because when you get home from hospital you are already overwhelmed and having to unpack/ wash a bunch of stuff is annoying.

I'd check with the hospital if they actually have everything you need like people are saying, my hospital had nothing, I went in for an emergency csection and had to send my partner home for my stuff as they only supplied one pad for pp bleeding and that's all, everything else I had to bring in for me Baby on the other hand went into nicu so they supplied a lot for him, only thing I really had to buy was prem nappies

Snacks . Comfey / Loose pants and trousers . More snacks . Pillow .

If u have a pregnancy pillow, take it! And when you leave, take EVERYTHING out of the room. Lol. It's already been scanned and billed to insurance anyway.

Comfy clothes, hair ties, socks, pillows.

Chap stick for sure comfy clothes if you don’t want to be in gown entire time deodorant socks charger lol

Lotion!!! Saved me from itching that came along with the meds!

Extra big granny panties Extra blanket for hubby Extra pillow Snacks Chargers Heating pad Nursing bra/nipple pads/nipple cream if breastfeeding Comfy clothes Warm socks or slippers

Granny panties and large pads ! I hated the hospital ones... wish someone would have told me to bring that.

Had 3 kids and most useful was chapstick, socks, French braid my hair and adult diapers!!! So much better than regular pads because you can throw the whole thing away instead of having to change pad and underwear’s since it always goes through

Depends work great

which adult diapers did you use?

Comfortable pajamas, flip flops for the shower... I couldn’t wait to shower after delivery! It was so soothing. Always discreet underwear (adult diapers). More confortable than what the hospital provides and keeps the Ice pack in place better! Outfits for baby...

The best things I took were eye shades for sleeping and ear plugs. The hospital actually had a sound machine in the room which we used the whole time and so I got a little sleep with those 3 things during my 4 night stay.

Also if you are breastfeeding take your pump!!!! They will teach you how to use it!

The major thing is to not over pack. I personally stick with a change of clothes for home, flip flops for the shower, toiletries, and an outfit or two for baby. My husband stayed with me as well, but would go home for a little bit each day to change and check up on the house since our hospital was close by. Just keep it simple 💕

What's that white can with the blue lid spray called.??? It's really great It toke away the pain down there. They provide it. But when I had my second son they didn't so I want to buy some and bring some just in case

I wish I had brought baby nail clippers. They are born with long nails, and by the time we took him home, his face was all scratched up from hitting his face with his own little daggers! We used the FridaBaby brand and they are great. It makes the whole process much less nerve wracking.

I took my own sheets comfy clothes sweatpants ,boxers , huge t shirts ,shower shoes , pillow towel your own toiletries, iPad or phone for entertainment, get the long iPhone charging cable , I also had a essential oil diffuser. I had twins and was there for a while. Comfort is key though.

Write a list of the photos you want.

Adult diapers, toiletries, pillows and comfy maternity gowns.
