Health nurse

Has anyone had a bad experience with their health nurse at babies development check? She was lovely, but I left feeling really bad 🤣 she told me that my baby is having too much milk and not enough solids. (Even thow his weight was above average) he’s 10 months old. he gets breakfast and small lunch and dinner with snacks during the day and 3 bottles. She said he needs another dinner for lunch time. I tried giving him a big lunch yesterday and then he wouldn’t eat his dinner . I told her certain foods I’m nervous giving him like chunks of chicken etc . She made me feel awful that I was afraid of that, she also told me I need to let him cry himself to sleep, that he shouldn’t have anything that is a purée texture and that his milk has 0 nutrients in it, so why do I still have to give it to him? I can’t stop thinking about it. She called me a few hours later saying she is going to get a dietician to call me. It made me feel awful because I put a lot of effort into his food, everything is home made and never store bought.

You should put in a complaint with the hse. Extremely poor and wrong information she is giving you as there are many benefits in milk and it shouldn't be cut out before 12 months. She definitely shouldn't be commenting on CIO for sleep times as that's a personal choice.
