Gestational Sac measuring ahead of Baby
So I had my first US today. Based on my conception date I’m 7 weeks, but my OB said based on my transvaginal US the gestational sac is about 7w1d while the embryo is measuring 6w2d. I have to go back in two weeks for another US.
Is this something to be concerned about?
The OB said they saw a heartbeat, but didn’t tell me the heart rate. She didn’t even show me the screen or the pictures she printed for the measurements so kind of annoyed that I didn’t get to see anything…is that normal?
This happened to me twice. With my daughter she measured a few days behind, because it was my first pregnancy they did a repeat a week later and she measured like a week ahead, with this pregnancy i was 7w3d at my appointment but baby measured 6w6d, again a few days behind. My next appointment isn’t until 12/28 and I’m sure baby will measure on schedule or ahead
