Changing formula, kendamil to hipp organic.. Need help!

Does he have any rashes/eczema? Could possibly be CMPA or intolerance which is what my LO ended up having. We’ve switched him to a hydrolysed formula which seems to help!

@Sarah he doesn't have any rashes, I'm always checking, I tried the anti Colic kendamil too which is partially hydrolysed but it didn't do anything. Went to the doctors too and they said ihe doesn't have the signs of cmpa
@Chantel how did you change the formula? Is it a straight swap? I'm worried his stomach might get worse by swapping but I need to try and see if it helps
@Anisa we had no issues any of the times we changed for formula and we just did it straight away
@Chantel that's good.. I've heard a lot of people say that they had to change gradually as it upset their baby's tummy
@Anisa oh really. I think if the kendamil is causing issue as it was us, then you should nice relief straight away after changing

Ours was the same on Kendamil, swapped to Aptimil and he was completely fine straight away! We tested first with the pre made bottles to save spending a fortune x
@Anisa hi, some of the symptoms you describe sound like silent reflux and/or CMPA. The stomach gurgling etc and especially if he is bringing up milk too. My LG had this. I started on kendamil, switched to hipp organic. At 1st I thought it helped but she was still unsettled so I went to the GP and have been on a long journey of trialling different Milks, she also needs omeprazole for the silent reflux. I found my health visitor to have a lot more knowledge about everything that was going on than our GP so it might be worth speaking to your HV if you don't get anywhere with the GP x
We were originally on Apitamil and swapped to HIPP. Same kind of symptoms and as soon as we swapped it was an instant change. Most people recommend switching a bottle at a time, but we went straight for it as I refused to do it in stages and have her continue to be upset and suffering and she’s been absolutely fine ever since! Trust your gut, mum knows best at the end of the day
Thank you everyone for your advice. I think it is silent reflux. I will try to do a straight swap and hopefully he'll be OK and get on with the new milk 🙏
My baby suffered lightly colics the first month when I was using cow&gate and tomme tippee bottle. I switched to Mam bottles anticolic and use Hipp she never had colics in the last 2 months. Not sure is Hipp but definitely works well for us.

@Katia Im glad she's better now. Ita crazy how different every bottle and formula is.. Even though they say legally all formulas are the same!
My two month old is having the same exact symptoms and he’s on kendamil organic. I don’t know if I should change or not
@Serish aww have you had him checked by the doctor incase there's an allergy?
We went from aptamil to kendamil and had same problems on both milks - the kendamil is quite rich Switched to hipp comfort and things have been so much better ever since
