Adhd/ Anxiety med question

So when I had my first child almost 2 years ago I did experience postpartum anxiety and it took me months to realize what it was and when I went to get help I tried 2 anxiety medication‘s and they didn’t help and then I got pregnant with my second child so I decided to hold off on anymore experimenting until I was done being pregnant- now here I am 2 months postpartum from my second child and I’m noticing the symptoms coming back strong especially because now that I’ve been through it once it’s easier to see that I’m going through it again. I have a lot of anxiety symptoms that I also think could be ADHD from talking with other women and I would like to ask my doctor about trying Adderall, but I’m also nervous to ask because I feel like that’s not a drug they’re going to prescribe easily but I also feel like I’ve talked to so many moms with symptoms like mine that are either on adderall by itsself or that in combination with an anxiety med and they’ve had so much success from it. I know everyone is different, but I still would like to try it. I have an upcoming appointment with my primary doctor to talk about it- does anyone have any advice on how I should go about it?

I would tell them exactly how you are feeling. I've had three pregnancies and with each of them I had to get off my meds when I was pregnant. I've never been on Adderall but have been given other meds that helped so much. Everything I have gotten has been extremely helpful except zoloft. So anyways just go and be honest and get what they think will help you to feel better. Best of luck!

@Liesl they gave me Ritalin. I notice it helping but it doesn’t last long. I also think I could use an anxiety med to go along with it. I tried buspar and lexapro before, was actually thinking of trying Zoloft.
