Fibroid treatment- surgery to remove the fibroid and risk it coming back or have a hysterectomy
Last week, I found out that I have a big fibroid (about 13 cm by 9 cm) in my uterus. My Obgyn recommends that I get a hysterectomy to remove my uterus which will also remove the fibroids. Does anyone have any experience with both types of surgeries? Thanks for your help.
It depends if you want to have more kids or not. If you want more kids, then just have the surgery to get it removed. If you are 100% sure that you no longer want kids, then you can a hysterectomy.
