Elected c section at Broomfield hospital
Hi, question for mums who have had or due to have a c section at Broomfield hospital.
I am due to have my c section in a week and haven’t received my medication which I am due to take before surgery as well as any medication post birth.
Do you know when I will receive this? Thanks

They mentioned I would need to take something for stomach acid the night before and morning of surgery

I got given this after I’d been to the hospital for covid test and bloods. Post meds will be given before you are discharged
How interesting! I've only had an emergency C-section there but will be booked in for elective at 40 weeks. Maybe ring the labour ward and ask?xx
You tend to get it when you go in for your pre op stuff ! At least that’s what happened with me 🤞 cxxx

What medication are you expecting to take before the surgery? Normally if you're on blood thinners or hypersensitive medication they might tell you not to take them for a number of hours before the surgery. Can't think of anything you would need to take before... 🤔 Anything to take after they will make sure you have before you are discharged. Usually blood thinners and pain relief.xx
