Heart ❤️ palpitations and breathing
Hey mama’s 👋🏽
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and feel like I’ve been having heart palpitations and shortness of breath. I started reading up on it and apparently it’s not uncommon as a side effect of increased blood volume and blood vessel changes in pregnancy. However, I’ve had 3 babies before and don’t remember experiencing this.
Anyone else have similar symptoms?
Heart flutters
Feeling hard beats at times
Shortness of breath
I’d like to add that I have been working out 3-5x week to stay healthy but it’s a bit scary.

Yes I’ve had this a lot recently. A bit unnerving but I guess normal. Also have heard my heart beat in my ears at night sometimes but I have tinnitus so ears ringing usually.

Have you had your iron and hemoglobin levels checked? I had the same symptoms and both my iron and hemoglobin were low!

I get it tooo, just talked to my dr because even my resting sometimes is over a 100 but he said it’s normal. Lots of extra blood makes the heart work harder and sometimes there are flutters.

@Mansi me too!! It usually only happens right when I lie down to go to sleep at night. Perfect time to be uncomfortable and worried👌🏼😂
Yes! I have palpation from time to time. Uncomfortable, but always passes after a few.
