Nursery themes?
I don't have one. I purchased these decals cuz I love elephants and thought it was cute. The nursery walls are aloe green and off white (I think a steamed milk color). I put 2 Pooh crib sheets on my registry and we got my girl a classic Pooh and Eeyore stuffed toys (cuz I also love Pooh).
My husband is helping me find a rug for the room and keeps sending me Pooh themed rugs and decals assuming it's a Pooh themed nursery because I've always loved Pooh and piglet. When I showed him the elephant decal we already bought (and he helped me measure the room for it), he asked if the nursery was gonna be elephants theme or if I'm just getting random things. And honestly, I wasn't going for a theme...just neutral colors with highlights of aloe green and soft pink. But his question made me feel bad...like it's not going to look cohesive in the end. I mean having a theme might make finding a rug easier 🤷♀️ ugh I just have no interior design skills.
Not a question...I guess I just needed an outlet 😢

My stuff is baby yoda but a lot of the stuff is hard to find or really pricy and we got a baby crib set that’s Dinos
@Jess thank you! I'm definitely doing it more for me...I know my kiddo will want to change everything as soon as they're old enough to have an opinion and communicate it to me 😂 but I love that you just get cute random stuff. Makes me feel a lot better

Don't worry about cohesion. Baby won't care 😉. I have a "theme" but I'm not being strict about it. If something is cute, I get it. The "theme" is dragons/mythical creatures/cryptids, but my mobile is a tiger with flowers on it and I have created a cross stitch baby announcement thing that is meadow animals. Toys vary. It really is not that big of a deal.
