@Gisselle yes, I use the orajel baby swabs. Why?!!!

@Ana I have a daughter that is 1y 7m old & at that time her doctor told me not to use Orajel on her when she’s teething. She told me that it makes babies gums stronger so it’s more painful for them when they teeth (Takes longer for teeth to pop through). I only used it on her twice and she had the worst time of her life. She hated it. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve had 2 other pediatricians tell me the same thing. Now with my 6m son, I don’t want anything to do with it because I’m scared it going to do the same thing for him.

@Gisselle usually when I use them, it seems as if they make it better for him.. it soothes him. He isn’t fussy or anything :/ with his first 2 teeth he has it helped a tonnnn but that’s shocking news! I’m gonna talk to his doctor about it!

@Gisselle thank u soooo much mama ❤️

@Gisselle my son’s pediatrician told me the same thing about orajel, I decided no to use it on my LO

@Gisselle our pediatric dentist told us this as well!

@Ana Yes I’ve heard the same thing which is why I was asking and I also thought they took it off the market. Ask your pediatrician 🤗 I would love to know what they say. My LO may be teething soon and I have no idea what to use other then Tylenol and the rings.

7 months and no teeth yet!

@Gisselle be careful, I used this for my baby & it began to get mold on the inside.

0! My first didn’t have any until he was 10 months.

@Lizbeth how long did it take to cut through the gums?

@Claudia how long did it take to break through the gums? How many days?

@Camy he started teething around 4m and he’s now 7 1/2, he’s little tooth barely started showing 3 weeks ago so it took a while but he wasn’t in pain at first only the last 4 weeks gotten worse and I used Tylenol only twice, for the most part I put the gel toys in the fridge and gave them to him to help soothing.

@Lizbeth I meant how long the tooth took to cut through the gums? Like once you felt it or saw his gums were swollen how long it took for the tooth to actually come through.

@Camy I would say about 4 days

We don’t use oragel either, instead I freeze Fruits, especially frozen celery. Which he loves. Celery also helps bring down inflammation. You can do frozen carrots, cucumbers, celery. I also have this natural aloe Vera gel that I’ll swap on his gums while he’s asleep.
