Advice- trying to conceive

I was fertile and had my ovulation over the last few days and me and my husband did try both days to conceive. If I did conceive would I get cramps this early on? As I feel cramps but not sure if it’s in my mind 🤔 also a few times I have felt nausea. Advice would be helpful. Thanks Lisa

So how many days post ovulation are you? Could you be ovulating now, hence the cramps? Generally implantation cramps happen 6DPO onwards. Same with nausea, any pregnancy symptoms would start a few days after implantation. Progesterone, which rises after ovulation can cause nausea.

Possibly only 2 days post ovulation. Only started tracking this month so dates etc are lent solid as such yet. Thanks for the advice.

I’m 4dpo and been cramping for 3 days and I NEVER have ovulation cramps! Fingers crossed for us both hun!xx

@Chez aww ok, thats positive news! When do you recommend to do the test?

It’s my first time trying also.. I’m not totally up on it but I’m gonna order a self check blood test from Amazon which can apparently tell you from 6dpo.. if that doesn’t work I’m gonna try first test when I’m 8dpo and if still negative go for 10 then 12.. people say don’t excessively test and I probably won’t any other month but as it’s my first time and I can’t think about anything else at all I’m just gonna go for it.. if I’m disappointed then I know for next month and if not then I can hopefully prove to my partner my BFP as she thinks I’m bloody going crazy telling her that I genuinely believe it’s worked xx

@Chez that sounds like a good plan. Yeah I’ve had quite a few negative tests so I may leave it then until nearer the time until I’m due on. Hate the waiting game now x

Fingers crossed for everyone. Implantation only happens from 6-12dpo so unlikely to be signs of early pregnancy yet. Nausea can be a common symptom of the rising progesterone. A lot of early pregnancy and pms symptoms are the same. I drove myself nuts guessing. Try to go with the flow causes less stress and over analysing x
