I don’t want to breastfeed

I don’t want to breastfeed, like at all, but I have no idea how to get rid of the breast milk or how long it takes to dry up on it’s own? Once the baby is born, do I just leave my breasts alone and it will go away? Can I ask for medication in the hospital to stop the milk? I don’t want to get mastitis or be in pain, I want to do it the right way but google is useless and my midwife just told me it will go away on it own but gave no time frame, nothing Someone, any advice please I’m getting so stressed about this 😞

With both mine I wore a tight sports bra and toon paracetamol every 4 hours. If they were leaking I stood in the shower and put the water on them, leant over and let them leak themselves. Don't touch them, don't express even a little bit as your body will want to keep going. Mine hurt for about 2 days but painkillers really did help x

I've had 2 babies and never ever leaked milk, and I never got any pain in them either. They didn't feel full or anything. So you might not even need to do anything. I didn't breastfeed either due to having a lot of difficulties x

Hi I’m on my 7th baby so had lots of experience in breastfeeding and non breastfeeding. In my experience any sort of stimulant may trigger leaks and reproduction of your milk . My baby would only make a little noise and my breast Milk would literally shoot out like pistols! . Iv tried to tight bra/towel method. Again just stimulates! So on my last two I left my breasts well alone included when in shower / bath just gentle dabbing to clean as again warm water can even stimulate. , good luck x
