Is she showing hunger cues at night before you latch or just waking up fussing? Around a month old some babies start to spread out their night feedings because they get more during the day as they become more effective at getting the milk out. It could be nothing, or it could be a tie or reflux as suggested above. Monitor it, only give the formula if she is super hungry and if it’s only at night she may just not be hungry.
I was excluding tongue tie because we have been dismissed successfully by the midwives and the health care has already seen her, all of them wanted to see me while breastfeeding, how I was latching, keeping the baby and they always have reassured me that I was going not just fine, but greatly. So this is a change happened in the latest days, I feel my breasts more empty but this can be because she’s asking constantly them and I’m breastfeeding on demand… It’s a lot frustrating…
@Claudia not all tongue tie is immediately obvious…sounds like silent reflux too, to me. I would keep her upright for 30 mins after a feed before lying her down. Is she windy? How are her nappies? I would monitor it all as silent reflux can be symptom of something underlying such as CMPA.
Has she been checked for tongue tie? Is it silent reflux?
