Overwhelmed and sad

I'm feeling over everything. I can't do anything right I feel.... I can't get pregnant. I'm not sure if my body because I weigh almost 300 pounds or if it is because my husband has a hernia. Either way, we have had 3 kids in the past all unplanned but now when I want one it's not happening??? Everyone tells me to stop wanting it so badly but I don't understand that. I just want the two lines to pop again. 😩 I'm 27 years old maybe I should just stop trying and get back on birth control but I really want this 😩

I'm sorry you're going through this. Maybe them telling you to stop wanting is more to stop focusing on it to protect yourself from disappointment. If it's something you truly want, I think it makes sense to stay off birth control and talk to your doctor about what you can do to increase your chances. You're 27. That's SO young. You have plenty more years ahead of you where this is possible. We didn't start trying until we were 35/37. You're definitely not at an age when you have to let go of your dream just yet!

I totally understand how you are feeling. When my husband and I were trying to conceive our first baby we tried for almost a year and nothing was happening. I was diagnosed with PCOS and decided I probably want going to be able to get pregnant so we stopped focusing on getting pregnant. I started some new medication to try to help me conceive and figured it would take months or another year to happen. It took 2 weeks and I ended up conceiving. I randomly took a pregnancy test like 7 weeks after I started the medication and it came up positive. The night before I had taken the test my husband and I were talking and he was saying I don't understand why God isn't allowing us to conceive. Then bam, our prayers were answered. I think if you're so focused on conceiving, then you stress your body out. So I think them telling you that is them trying to be helpful, but I understand it's not what you want. I just had baby #2. I'm 30yo and weigh 250 so don't give up!

Thank you ladies very much. Your words give me hope and help put my mind at ease. ❤️

Sometimes when you stop trying or when you focus more on other things is usually when it happens. When your not even trying. So don't get on birth control but instead just enjoy each day and see what happens. I know that's easier said then done. 🤗

I don't think it's proven to work, like I'm not sure what 'evidence' you'll find on jt... But I was ttc, and ended up reading a blog post by a celebrity who was advised by fertility doctors in LA to make sure vitamins and diet were good going into ttc. He recommended taking folic acid, CoQ10, and the zita west DHA. I started taking those as well as vitamin D & B12. I swear it's what made the difference for me as 6 weeks after starting to take them I got pregnant
