Talking to toddler Mom’s Surgery

Hi all, I am having health issues and will be having surgery soon. I’m not sure how to talk to my 2.5 year old about it. I want her to be prepared and know what to to expect i.e. she can’t climb on me, I won’t be able to pick her up or play on the floor like I usually do for a while. But what is age appropriate to tell her? I don’t want to scare her… but want to be honest. What are your thoughts? Has anyone had to do this before? Thanks!
