Is this a rash? Chicken pox? Bacterial infection?
I went to the doctor and she told me that he may have chickenpox or he may have a bacterial infection . He is prone to eczema and he recently had a cold (stuffy nose, cough) 3 days ago he lost his appetite (very unusual for him, although he is a picky eater he is always snacking). His eczema has flared the past couple weeks - but it has never been in his face. His scalp is also itchy too.
What is going on?!?!?!

It took a while to respond to the topical medication but he did respond to it. I was surprized!!

If it is only on his face, it’s not chickenpox. The tiny white pus centers does resemble why she would call it chickenpox. But chickenpox is a viral infection so it would be other areas as well. Any new soap? I would put cortisone on it and watch it for a couple days. Even calamine lotion but don’t get it right by the mouth.

Does he have any on his hands or feet? Could be hand foot mouth disease.
