can run down over you’re incision!! never rub it! and always pat it dry!! and what helloed me feel like i was keeping it cleaned was putting a panty liner over it after every shower and leaving it there, it also helps keep anything from rubbing against it. you will be fine momma! you gotta keep youre head up! youre gonna rock this heeling process❤️
hey!! my 4 weeks pp as of yesterday from my first c-section and first baby!! and i was a nervous wreck!! scared of infection, of medicine, of anything that could go wrong! but ill tell you this… i didnt take pain medicine at all bc in scared of it, like i dont care how much pain im in i just wont take it! the first 5-6 days are going to be rough, they are going to make you feel exhausted, going to ruin you mentally (if youre anything like me) but you HAVE TO MOVE, dont over do it, dont push yourself neither but you should rest and get up at least every 2 hours to empty youre bladder! take it step by step and day by day.. i promise its just a season IT WILL PASS, and YOU WILL FEEL BETTER. as for worrying about infection i swear i was crying all the time afraid but as long as your are cleaning yourself as in let the water run over youre chest while in the shower (not for long, just kinda spin like a rotisserie chicken) and squeeze youre rag of ANTI BACTERIA SOAP on youre chest so it
Def stay on top of your pain meds, even when you get home the first week or so. I was hurting from hunching over as well, so a heating pad helped. Make sure things you need in the bathroom are at hip or higher height because you won’t be able to bend for some time.
@Micaela what is a belly binder? What one did you use
But everyone is different. Hang in there. Every day will get easier ❤️
I asked for drugs every few hours (the stronger ones) and I didn’t suffer at all bc of that.
I’m so sorry you are having that pain but you are doing great! Best advice is keep moving while you can it helps. Stay on top of your pain meds. I used a belly binder for support and found that helped a lot.
Cold packs worked.
