It’s personal preference. My kids have treats

I don’t give her it, but I don’t make a huge deal if relatives offer her some. Obviously, hard candies are choking hazards, so those are completely off-limits for our kid.

Yes, sparingly. I also try to make some healthier sweet-ish treats. She enjoys fruit!!!

My son has lollipops all the time. We use teeth cleaning ones and also ones that have vitamin C or elderberry. He’s also had “yum earth” m&ms and stuff. Things like don’t have artificial food coloring. But he eats amazing otherwise so I don’t care. He loves plain yogurt, every vegetable besides brussel sprouts, he eats salad, salmon, eggs, etc . He’s a healthy guy!

@Lauren where or what brand of lollipops do you have for teeth cleaning and immune support? This is a new thing for me

Chocolate but never candy candy. I am a dentist though.

As my husband is literally addicted to candy, my kids share with him sometimes!

We also have a 4yr old so whatever she gets so does the 2.5yr old

@Alisha the teeth cleaning ones are called zollipops. They’re suppose to neutralize the acidity and raise the pH level in the mouth, which is suppose to decrease tooth decay. I have no idea if they work haha we still brush his teeth twice a day. But occasionally I give him one of those. And the elderberry and vitamin C ones are from Yum earth. They have a lot of candy that is free from artificial colors. But we had a lot of elderberry ones during the height of RSV in the winter bc it was just easier than giving him elderberry syrup. He already eats a lot of vitamin C bc he loves fruit, especially freeze dried. Which are always stuck in his teeth 🤦🏼‍♀️ especially the freeze dried blueberries which turn his hands and face blue
