Implantation bleeding or MC?

I’m having pretty much the same as you. I’m supposedly 5 weeks pregnant although I only got my BPF (x4 because I didn’t believe it) yesterday at 23 dpo because I started lightly bleeding 11 days ago and just assumed it was AF

@Abigail the day and a half wait to find out my hcg was hard! I have been told to wait until next Wednesday to do a scan 😮‍💨 The doctor has told me my period was most likely implantation and the bleeding is most likely another miscarriage 🙃

@Abigail I haven't done any tests since as I am too afraid to see it get fainter 🙈 I really hope your bleeding is no cause for concern! Sticky dust to you x

I’m really hoping yours is sticky too! That’s such a strong positive test… and that seems to be such a light bleed. Are you still spotting? I’m still getting peachy coloured discharge 🤷‍♀️

@Abigail My HCG was 269 at 5 weeks so just within range. Getting bloods done again (gp said to wait a week to confirm miscarriage but I was like heck no, I am waiting 48 hours to see if it might be viable). Apparently it's super common to bleed at 5 weeks but with previous losses it's hard not to be apprehensive! I am still getting some blood. It's almost like a tap is dripping 😅 Peachy coloured discharge is definitely a good sign if you gave stopped bleeding right? I have my fingers and toes crossed for your scan tomorrow! Keep me updated x

That’s great that you’re in range! Fingers and toes crossed for you. Keep me updated after your 48 hours repeat. Did they test progesterone too?? I passed a teeny tiny clot and some red blood when wiping returned today so I went in for an emergency scan. The result was very confusing. I basically got told I was having a “pregnancy of unknown location” and that the outcome will be 1 of 3: 1 too early to detect pregnancy in uterus 2 miscarriage has passed 3 I’m having an ectopic pregnancy. They did bloods there and then and I was told I’d get a call with the results by 7pm but it’s now 10pm and I haven’t heard anything 🙈🙈

@Abigail I demanded the progesterone be check and the dr physically wrote it on the referral 😬 Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear about the blood coming back. That is super confusing! Did they do any other tests to determine if it was ectopic? It can be super dangerous to have it undiagnosed 😳 Could you be less far along that you thought and that's why it is too early to detect? I really hope you get a call soon and it's the best possible outcome for the situation x
