Toddler Naps 😭
Hello! I’ve never posted on here so not sure how it works but though I’d give it a try. I need some help/advice! My daughter has never been great at napping but the last month has been especially hard. She’ll be 20 months in a week. Every day her naps are a struggle. Before I even put her down in her crib she starts to cry and then continues to cry forever until I take her out or lay next to her. Is this normal lol? We go out every morning, I take her to the playground and a lot of the time she tells me that she’s tired and wants to nap but then cries immediately when I leave the room. I’ve tried to let her skip her nap but then she gets tired and wants to go to bed by 4:30-5 and then our entire schedule is off the next day. What can I do?? PLEASE HELP 😭

@kayleigh in the car sometimes she does.. but only after she cries for about 15 minutes
@kayleigh but I usually try to be home around her nap time to avoid that
I still rock my 20 month old to sleep. 95% of the time she stays asleep when I transfer her.
Hmm my boy falls asleep with movement - so naps in his pram. Will she nap with you next to her? That's how my boy goes to sleep at night and I sneak away when he's fully asleep.
