Sleeping long stretches

My son is 2 months tomorrow and the past few days he has been sleeping in 6-8 hr stretches at night. Don’t get me wrong I feel so blessed after that 6/7 week growth spurt! He was so so fussy day and night for a good week but now he’s hitting some big milestones, super smiley and happy and sleeping in long stretches. My only concern is him possibly missing out on nutrients he may need by not having a bottle for that long. He has a ped appt in 3 days where I will discuss w his dr. Has/is anyone else’s LO doing the same? Are you waking them at the 3/4 hr mark?

If he’s gaining weight, do noooot wake him up. My son has been sleeping 7-10 hour stretches overnight for weeks now, it’s fantastic. He eats 4-5x during the day, 6oz each time. That is more than enough milk. If your baby is hungry in the night he WILL wake up. Do not wake him up!!! 😂

^^^ same girl. My daughter does it! She’s done it since the beginning actually. She sleeps 7-10 hours stretches, my doctor said it was completely fine.

@Becca I do both

@Becca I am doing formula!

My 8wk old son just started sleeping 6 hours consistently. Up to 7 some nights. I exclusively breastfeed @Becca

I looked it up the other day and it's normal for them to start sleeping this much at 2 months. Doesn't need to wake up to feed.

@Becca up until two days ago he was exclusively breastfed but I’m now combo feeding!

Idk I would wake my baby up if it was me for diaper changes and a bottle atleast once a night

I actually have had the same thing the past 2 nights. He slept for 6.5 hours then last night for nearly 9 Hours!! I feel silly worrying about it considering it’s any infant’s parents dream..but he usually only does 4 hour stretches up until this point. But relieved with all the mamas saying if he’s gaining weight and good throughout the day….do not wake 😂 he’s definitely going through a growth spurt; eating more, tad more fussy, and seeing some changes in his alertness and other behaviors.
