Breastfed Whiny Baby Boy

MAN I know this is only a moment in time, and IDK that I'm looking for advice or more so just someone to tell me that this is normal and shall pass... My little dude goes to daycare and over the past month has rejected his bottle. He won't take a bottle anymore from anybody, so is only taking a cup (which was a journey to find the right one all in its own lol). But it seems like since he stopped taking a bottle, all he wants to do is nurse when he comes home. He drinks plenty during the day from his cup, I think it's just a comfort thing. He'll stay latched for over 30 mins at a time, and whenever he sees me he'll race from across a room for me to hold him, but when I pick him up, all he wants to do is nurse. If I just hold him and cuddle him he'll be fine for a few minutes, but the longer I hold him, the more whiney he gets and wants to nurse. It's gotten to the point that he would be just fine playing with his toys or his daddy, and if he sees me he starts whining and crying so if I don't want to sit down and nurse for 30 mins + I can't even let him see me. Hell, I know this is just a moment in time and not a big deal, but I'd like to just sit on the floor and play with him without him being whiney and crying till I flop a boob out. 😂😅

I think it's the age. My daughter seems to want to nurse more these days. Still drinks water out of a bottle and eats solids, just whiney until she nurses. She is also teething.

Oh goodness! Maybe it is just an age thing then?!?!

Going through this right now! And I thought it was only my boy.

My daughter just started something similar.. always wanting to bf. I had transitioned to just bottle during the day feeds and just bf overnight/first thing in the morning. Started in an effort to get supply back up after christmas covid, but realized it freed up so much time. Then id say last 2 weeks... all of a sudden when she see me... she just wants me and will dig her little head clearly telling me what she wants.

Yes! He's great during the day, not whiney or fussy at all, he's also eating solids, so not hungry or thirsty either, just super whiney for me only. Lol 😅
