Raw payapya is one I’ve seen people say stuff about My OB also said to be careful with high sodium foods. They are okay sometimes but too much can cause high blood pressure
I thought pineapple would be good for you as a fruit but google has scared me with mixed messages🤣🤣 yes I have read all the basic stuff about no raw meat/oily fish/raw eggs etc just want to be sure there's no other spices/lentils/sauces etc that I should avoid xxx
I ate pineapple when I was pregnant and maybe it was coincidental but I had stomach cramps all night. I didn’t go near it again until end of pregnancy.
@Khya how strange!!! I will definitely avoid then - thank you so much! X
@Ciara thank you! I've just been looking and apparently tomato based curries are healthier than the creamy sort so I'll probably stick to a chicken roshuni and get the goodness from the garlic 🥰 x
The pineapple is a myth. It does have bromelain in it that can cause contractions but you’d have to have an entire pineapple or two for that to be the case. I actually ate an entire pineapple 🍍 to try to induce labor naturally before being medically induced.
You can eat Indian food , poppadoms are fine there is no harm becos it contains chickpea flour and oil. You are safe. Just make sure they use pasteurised milk when they make their curries or raita.
My midwife told that pineapple doesn't cause contractions. So many people say it because it meant to make you go to the toilet for nr2 if you eat in large quantities, it actually irritates the bowel canal not causing contractions. I have had lots of pineapple and my baby girl was still born at 42+0 none of that worked
Honestly anything in moderation is okay unless you’ve been specifically told not to! I’m Pakistani so my diet is basically curries and I’ve got a healthy 5 month old and now pregnant with my second and had no problems with anything! Maybe reduce the chillies to prevent heartburn but you should be good, enjoy!! X
@Haseena thank you so much! It is literally my favourite restaurant! I asked about the cream and it is UHT so definitely safe x
I wasn’t told not to eat pineapple but my OB did say any meat or egg has to be cooked completely:/
