Indian Food

7 weeks and absolutely STARVING 24/7🤣 so thrilled to be going to the indian tonight, just unsure if there's anything I really need to steer clear of? I've already checked about the cream they use in curries and paneer cheese (a must🄺) and it is UHT so completely safe! But just checking there's nothing else I need to know? Poppadoms? I've heard no pineapple also but is this a myth? Just want to be extra safe as I'm still quite early x

@Haseena thank you so much! It is literally my favourite restaurant! I asked about the cream and it is UHT so definitely safe x

Honestly anything in moderation is okay unless you’ve been specifically told not to! I’m Pakistani so my diet is basically curries and I’ve got a healthy 5 month old and now pregnant with my second and had no problems with anything! Maybe reduce the chillies to prevent heartburn but you should be good, enjoy!! X

My midwife told that pineapple doesn't cause contractions. So many people say it because it meant to make you go to the toilet for nr2 if you eat in large quantities, it actually irritates the bowel canal not causing contractions. I have had lots of pineapple and my baby girl was still born at 42+0 none of that worked

You can eat Indian food , poppadoms are fine there is no harm becos it contains chickpea flour and oil. You are safe. Just make sure they use pasteurised milk when they make their curries or raita.

The pineapple is a myth. It does have bromelain in it that can cause contractions but you’d have to have an entire pineapple or two for that to be the case. I actually ate an entire pineapple šŸ to try to induce labor naturally before being medically induced.
