Cars & ISOFIX?

We’re looking to get a new car as ours currently isn’t big enough - are there any cars anyone would recommend? We don’t want to spend an absolute fortune ideally. We’ve seen a couple of Nissan Qashqai’s but the older ones don’t seem to have ISOFIX 🤨🧐

We did this last week, found the qashqais a bit too expensive. So we opted for a Skoda Karoq! Huge boot. Engine is same as a Volkswagen. Deffo loving it so far x x

I was looking at Qashqai but went for a Juke as thought it was slightly smaller. We got it when we had 1 and now have 2 (3&1). I can fit a double stroller in the boot and 2 joie 360s with isofix.

We have a Ford focus 2009 which didn’t come with isofix but did have the connections to add it, so we fitted it ourselves. But isofix isn’t necessarily safer than a high end rear facing belted seat with a tether.

I’d check which model started with it as my sister in law has a used one (older model) and that has isofix! The used car market is crazy now, I know a local dealer who is struggling to get cars in to meet demand!

We have a vauxhall insignia, the boot looks small but it's actually quite big, not sure how much 2nd hand retail for my husband got his from his work as an ex work car and no you don't need to pay tax
