Medicaid
EI tops out at 55% of your pay or to a max eligibility, whichever is less You’re best to call Service Canada
If you have a work permit or PR you get EI as long as you have the days needed to apply. Its NOT 60% of your salary. Its based on your salary with a top of $55k Child benefit is based on your income from previous tax year. In this case you need to be at least a temporary resident (pr, work permit etc) and have paid taxes to be able to apply.
Unfortunately I believe you have to have PR at least to get benefits. Alina above mentioned the benefits if you are.
Non citizens, as long as they're PR get the same may leave benefits as Canadian Citizens. Mat leave in Ontario is 55% of salary to a max of of $650 a week. This is reduced weekly if you take extended mat leave (same amount total but less weekly) You can also be elegible for Child Benefits but it depends on household income (yours + partner, if applicable). I would suggest appliying to that even if you think your salaries combined are high
