I stayed in a private room and found that I needed the following to get through: -bath towel (unless you want to use theirs which I found gross) -slippers (KEY,you don’t want to be walking on those nasty floors bare foot) -basic toiletries -Frida peri bottle -adult diapers (hospital does not have these and I wished I had brought more considering the amount of flow after delivery) -comfy clothes or pjs -one baby outfit for each twin and swaddles (unless you like the hospital ones) -extra long phone charger -things to keep you occupied otherwise you’ll be bored out of your mind being in that room
It's more so stuff for yourself rather than them, Xtra long phone charger. Slippers, comfy pj's unless u want to wear the hospital gown the entire time, I ordered post partum underwear/diapers from Amazon basics that was way better than what the hospital gave me. Toiletries if you don't want hospital grade shampoo, A hands free nursing bra that will hold a pump. For them I really only needed 2 outfits each and their car seats. The hospital had a pump for me, bottles, formula, and they prefer the babies in just a diaper and a hospital provided shirt,
Also realized our answers are from USA and CA, you may want to inquire about your hospital and what they do or don't supply for the babies, ours sent you home with enough diapers and formula for a few days, you should probably find out
