Help with Talking

My LO hasn’t picked up any words besides “dada” and she’s 16 months now. Any ideas what more we can do to help? She’s a very happy, but quiet babe and I’m concerned that she’s a late talker (similarly, I was a late talker but was in a bilingual household—not the case for my daughter) Anyone else in the same boat? I’ve been anxious about it and would love to hear from other moms!

I don’t use screen time as much now because I myself have learned how to teach my babies. But ms Rachel is the reason my oldest talks, he had a tongue tie and I was struggling trying to teach him how to move his mouth properly because I straight up didn’t have the knowledge.

@Renee I second this. My daughter was barely talking and we started watching Ms Rachel and I would sing and talk along with the videos now she's doing so great and picking up on so much

I would just be patient. Sometimes they work on other skills first. It doesn't mean they are not listening. My son barely talked and last week he said about 30 different new words.

My brother didn’t talk much as a toddler he’s 18 and still isn’t a man of very many words 😂. Miss Rachel will definitely help. My baby has been watching her for months. Miss Rachel teaches a lot. I’ve lost count of how many words she can say. And she teaches sign language so my baby signs and sometimes I have to google it 😂.
