Hi mamas have your baby smiled yet?

My boy Jackson is seven weeks old and he hasn’t socially smiled yet. I’m a little bit sad because I’m afraid that he may not be happy or maybe there’s something else underlying. I’m really eager for this mile stone does anybody else have the same concerns or is in the same position?

Between 7 and 8 weeks was when we started getting some of those adorable smiles! Keep trying and they’ll come soon!

My first barely ever smiled and now he’s the happiest 3 yr old ever. It really doesn’t mean anything at this age.

My son started smiling at 8 weeks on the dot. He is 3 now and is 100% typical yet amazing toddler boy. As developmentally normal as can be. With this little girl, I swear she is already purposefully smiling, and she's not even a month yet. I'm glad he was first, bc if it was the other way around, I'd definitely be worried comparing, but since it's the other way, it just goes to show how different every baby is!

Yes, since about 4 weeks she has been but it's completely normal if he hasn't smiled yet and in this stage it is more a reflex than a reaction. At 3 months - 5 months he will start smiling sooo much. ❤️
