Carseat Cover??

I’m due April 16th, but are other mom’s in this group going to use a car seat cover? Or is a blanket sufficient to get our little one from the hospital to the car? For reference, I live in Saskatchewan where the temperatures in April average 0°C-12°C.

We have the same due date💕 I'm using a cover for sure

Have also been wondering if I should buy a full cover (insulated) or just a muslin/cotton one… it’s so hard to plan for April in SK lol it could be summer it could be blizzarding 😭🤦‍♀️

I have one that I’ll probably use depending on the temperatures outside or we’ll do a blanket!

I have a jj cole bundle me, which is very nice but can be expensive. I got mine hand me down and will be using it till end of may depending on the weather

Oh perfect, thank you all!

I have the skip hop one shown above. I also have a cotton one made by milk snob that doubles as a nursing cover and a rain cover 🙈 we’re an outdoorsy family so I knew they’d all get used throughout the first year of baby’s life. But because April weather is so unpredictable I have all 3 ready to go on delivery day!

I live in Toronto, is it bad I plan to just use a blanket over the car seat 🥲

@Chantel where did you get this from? It’s too pretty!!

@Emilee im in Toronto too due towards the end of April and we are doing blankets and clothes only for hospital to home. My Doula recommended just one layer more than we would wear, so you avoid overheating your baby, in case that is also helpful to you 😊

@Carolina aw thanks for letting me know! I figured clothes and a blanket to the car would be enough so it’s reassuring I’m not the only one!!

@Natalie thank you! I actually found it at a local second hand store! You can buy them from canopy couture but I would recommend checking your local second hand stores just in case your as lucky as well!
