Yes girl! It’s my daily visitor. My therapist advised me to do mindful meditation which helps me reset my thinking and calm my racing heart.
Yes! Basically had an anxiety attack today thinking about labor, how to take care of a newborn, and everything I need to do before he comes. And I worry about things that could go wrong. I learned some things in therapy last year that I tried to apply today. Deep breathing and trying to stay busy. I went to a meditation yoga class today which helped. But my anxiety comes and goes all of the time so it’s just something I’ve had to learn to deal with 😢
Like heart palpitations? I experience this too. I’m never really thinking about anything that could cause anxiety either. It comes about very out of nowhere and lasts for a few seconds. I think it’s more to do with the extra blood in our bodies and our hearts having to work harder to pump it.
@Emily trust me, same! It’s just different when you’re pregnant, it’s not a want anymore it’s a need lol
Yup! High cortisol levels will cause it to feel more random like that. Breathing techniques are key!
