Maybe she doesn't accept it and thinks she should just be boss 🤷‍♀️ maybe she feels her gender is irrelevant...i mean im proud when someone calls me that because i know what it took me to get there

Woooow!!!! I guess she’s sensitive. In California, you can’t call anyone beautiful or pretty…..you can’t compliment anyone in any way in the workplace. Because…..people are sensitive. 🫠😑

Well its called a CAN - corrective action notice. Which it took away my bonus. It is a mental health company but She compared me to another employee. Yet I'm the unprofessional one?

That was a pretty petty move on her part imo. I would have simply pulled you aside and asked that you not address me with that term. A warning shot should have been given before a formal write-up.

I’m thinking you were respecting her title and even celebrating her a bit and she took it as you being patronizing. I say that because I have addressed someone as boss lady and I meant it sarcastically. She was never doing her Job and always making demands. We were trying to help her but she was just too nasty… we let her dig herself a hole.

My mom is VP of CS at her company and she literally has all the boss lady merch

First of all, I don’t see anything wrong with being called boss lady. That being said, I can respect if someone doesn’t want to be called that. Writing you up though sounds extreme. Also, most companies require some kind of coaching(not corrective action) before you can write someone up. If your boss had an issue with it should have talked to you first and coached you why they didn’t feel that was appropriate to be used. If it happened again it could lead to corrective action. I would talk to HR if I was in your place.
