I think everyone reacts differently to IUDs and it depends on the type too. I've have the mirena twice and at first I bleed a lot but then it tapers out. But I've heard of no bleeding once it goes in as well
I just got my first cycle a few days ago, my son turned 1 today and this is with no iud, no birth control at all.
Still no period for me. I’m on the mini pill and breastfeeding 2x/day and pumping 2x/day. I’m surprised but not in any rush to get my period again!
Still no period for me, and no birth control (my husband got snipped this time instead since we're 3 and done). I have and am still breastfeeding, and pumped to donate to a little boy since 3 weeks. Since he also just hit 1yr I'm now weaning off pumping so will probably get it back soon. So happy to be done with pumping, but not looking forward to getting my period back!
It's probably because you're still breastfeeding because the whole time I was breastfeeding I never had a cycle and I was 9 months in before I started weaning because the little girl got teeth and my period came like 2 weeks after
I haven't gotten mine yet and just weaned from the breast today. I also was perimenopausal and we did IVF with a donor egg, so I have no idea what's going to happen. 🤣 I'm sorry I'm no help.
