I went to a retreat for my company this weekend and my son is 13 months old. It was low key and my husband and older son came as well. They did their own thing and just brought baby by to breastfeed every few hours. We’re working up to going to a bigger trip in summer. My parents are getting better about watching both my boys, especially now that my 1 year old is more engaging.
I’d take your husband and have your parents watch our 2 year old! When does it start? Do you have time to ease your 2 year old into being watched by them? Like on a weekend? Work them up to it so it isn’t a shock.
Go! I travel for my job-just went back with my little at four months. I miss her, but we FaceTime daily and my husband and nanny send me videos every day of her and while it isn't quite the same, having some time to myself is nice. I would also encourage you if you can and trust your family to leave your toddler and bring your husband on the trip! Having that time to reconnect in the chaos of child raising will be so needed!
I would totally go. You never get to just be alone for a couple days so take it and relax with your friend. Your toddler will totally be okay with your husband and other family. Try to FaceTime or call everyday if you can
I had a work retreat when my baby was 13 months old. Agree with everyone. I would go and take my husband! Nice break for both of y’all
