Naps

My daughter actually just started to take 1 about a month ago and shes in bed by 830/9

My 22m old sometimes takes 1 nap. But she doesn’t like to go down for the naps it’s only if she happens to fall asleep at the right time for it. Like in the car or something. I don’t like her falling asleep after 1pm she won’t sleep that’s why I’ve kinda just tried avoiding naps all together she just won’t sleep as good

My twins take only one but is a long one, they wake up by 6:30am 🥴 they nap from 11- 1or 2pm and go to bed at 8. They have to be down for them to sleep and if we happen to go out in the morning, they still will take their nap for the same amount of hours later in the day and got to bed with no problem at 8 with no fighting, if they don't nap they turn into gremlins and bedtime turns into pure crying for how overtired they are 🫠🫠

When I'm with my son he takes a morning and and afternoon nap, but when he's with his Nana he takes one long nap usually in the afternoon. He goes in between the two with no issue and goes to bed around 8

We are still averaging two naps a day as well. On our busy days he might only get one but I feel like it’s harder for him to go to sleep at night with only one nap

I’d move bedtime. My kids are 3.5 and 2. Both of them transitioned to 1 nap about 15mo. When they dropped to 1 nap, both of them were in the bath at 6pm and in bed by 6:30pm and would sleep 12+ hours. Now, with the time change, they both are in bath at 7. In bed 7:30ish. My 3.5 yr old takes no nap and my 2 yr old takes 1. She sleeps about 11 hrs and he sleeps about 12. Definitely need to move bedtime with 1 nap (in my experience)

My 22 month old. She gets up between 8-930. Naps from 3-5/6pm then goes to bed at like 9-10pm

I wish my daughter napped twice a day 🙃 I have to fight her just so she’ll take one and she needs it

My son stopped napping a while ago ..but he does sleep about 13 hours through the night..

@Audrey We take contact naps. I’m 30 weeks with his sister so sleep and cuddles with him is my guilty pleasure right now.

@Melissa Contact naps don’t work for her anymore 😅

My daughter will sometimes take two naps while her grandparents are watching her when I am at work. She will do one nap for 1hour to sometimes 3 hours and then another short one in the afternoon. When I am at home I am lucky to get one nap out of her.
