Hi, My lg is 4 and half months old, I brought some blueberry and banana baby rice from aldi yesterday to try her with, just wondering if anyone else has used this and how much did you give your little one?

I won't be until she is at least 6 months and sitting on her own, currently she isn't, she's almost 5 months old. I would just make up a small amount and see how they go.

I would just try a spoon or two then gradually do more x

We aren’t fully weaning yet (she’s 5 months) but tried a spoon or two of baby rice with her milk. We used the Kendamil baby rice as there were only two ingredients. But she’s starting to sit up, good head control and putting the spoon to her mouth so we will probably start slowly weaning properly in a couple of weeks x

We tried our LO the other day with baby porridge and I just used the smallest bit with an oz of milk so it was very liquidy and just gave him 3 little spoon fulls, he wasn't to bothered so im going to hold off a couple more weeks and try him again

I’ve got my little girl on the pouches of purees already, she loves it. We started with the baby rice and she wasn’t interested in eating at all. So we waited a week or two and tried again. Then slowly went onto different flavours with the pouches. She likes veggie more than fruit. Now she has one meal a day with 2oz of milk and three bottles of milk. All babies move at their own pace but my kids have always been hungry little things! Take the cues from your baby. They’ll tell you whether they’re ready or not with how they react to the food!
