What do you guys think about having one beer if I’m breastfeeding?? It’s my husbands birthday and to celebrate at midnight i figured me and him can have one beer & cake 🥺

current guidance says to wait 2 hours after 1 drink before breastfeeding. enjoy!
My lactation consultant said if you can find the baby, you can feed the baby LOL. Such a small amount of alcohol transfers through breast milk
I drank but always waited the correct amount of time before breastfeeding so enjoy mama
I was told ever glass of wine or 1 beer equals 2-3 hours before feeding I try to pump as much as I can if I’m having a glass of wine or 2 lol
The nurses from our baby class told us a good rule of thumb is if you can drive, you can nurse/pump
Occasionally is totally fine but I have been reading that alcohol can lessen your milk supply.
