Leg soreness at night, anyone?

Already experienced excruciating sciatic pain around 4 months and my chiro helped me sort that out. I'm talking I cried as I tried for 5 mins to walk up half a flight of stairs type of pain. BUT. At night now I get this heavy, sore feeling down both my legs. As if I've been lying in that position for *days*, or in the car not stretching for hours. I feel sore but it's been maybe an hour in bed. I use a body pillow but the intensity gets worse throughout the night. Not sure of it's related to sciatica or just a pregnancy thing. Anyone else experiencing this? Not restless leg syndrome either- I have that too on and off, and it's not that.

I feel the same way. It’s really tough and painful throughout the night. I recently realized that with body pillows if you actually lean on the pillow that’s supporting your back instead of sleeping on your side with a straight angle it eases the pressure and pain a bit

Yes I even use a thick pillow between my thighs and I still get it. Lastnight it was my hips, but usually its my knees or ankles that get that feeling. Usually flipping over to the other side helps or swapping which leg I have on the pillow. But it just switches sides when I awake next.

Yes, it is horrible during the night. I get those electric shock feelings sometimes and it even wakes me up. Everything is so painful. I sometimes put a pillow under my legs to elevate them which helps for a short time, I also get up in the middle of the night to do a hot shower. I found out it eases my legs a lot and also makes me sleepy so I can go back to sleep. But yup that's why my night sleep starts at around 4-5 am.
