Period after ectopic pregnancy

Hello, I had an ectopic pregnancy where they had to remove my left fallopian tube a month ago. I just got my period 2 days ago. Is this normal? Can anyone give any tips. Thank you!

Sounds normal to me! You should have normal periods with or without that tube.

How fast can I get pregnant after that procedure

Hi Sara. Did they offer you any advice after the surgery? I think there is a medicine that means you shouldn't be trying for a few months so you would need to know if they used that or not

Hi I had the same procedure as you on January this year. My doctor recommended me to wait at least two cycles before trying again. She also recommended me to track my ovulation with the clear blue brand that shows a happy face because the ones with the strips are too hard to read and only will give you anxiety. That’s because I’m irregular with my period. Wait the two months or three to make sure your cycle is back to being regular. Otherwise If you start trying too soon you’ll get anxiety with negative results. I’m talking about my own experience.

I had a eptopic 2 years ago they told me 2 cycles removed my left tube and told me my right tube was fine been Trying for 2 years now randomly my right side block Anyone ever had this problem

And I don’t want to do ivf 😔

@Sara Dellanini my doctor recommended to wait 6 weeks to have sex & 2 cycles to get pregnant again after I had my left fallopian tube removed from an ectopic pregnancy!
