Unannounced Health Visitor
Hello, has anyone had a health visitor turn up unannounced at their door? I wasn't at home and my brother answered the door. The health visitor said it was an unannounced visit just to check on Mum and Baby which is odd. My brother said she was wearing her lanyard but I'm unsure as to if she was legit. She said to him she'll call me to arrange an appointment but it has been a few hours and no call? I haven't had my son's 2 year review yet as I'm waiting for an appointment so could it be to do with that?
Anyone got any advice as I'm stressing as to why she just turned up.

I think they are probably so busy that if they get a cancellation or if people aren't in they just work through their list or see who is in the area. I missed a couple of calls and then a couple of days later had a card through the door for my boy's last check. Nothing to worry about.xx
Health visitors are on your side they are there for help, so dont stress yourself. I'm sure everything is fine as someone else said prob just had some free time amd your in the list for a visit soon
This doesn’t sound legit to me! Call the health visitor number and check if someone did come! The development reviews aren’t at your house!
