Natural tick repellent

We just purchased an acreage with a creek and lots of trees, and when we were inspecting some thing (we haven’t moved yet) there were So many ticks. Looking for natural repellents. I’ve read mixed reviews on tea tree oil.

I've used baking soda. But that was in the house. Are you looking for outside?

@Andi ✨ yes! Looking for like what to put on them when they are out playing! But I’ll take all suggestions ♥️

Wondercide or Cedarcide. Cedar wood oil. Cedar mulch close to the house (garden beds or planter boxes). Guineafowl can eat around 1000 ticks a day.

Not necessarily a repellent spay but we use diatomaceous earth around our home, on the dogs and in the yard to kill ticks. It seems to work very well. As long as I apply it weekly we don’t have any issues.

Pyrethrins are from the chrysanthemum. Spray down their shoes and let them dry. I spray pants too, and camping gear and outside fabric stuff. It works for about a month on things that aren’t laundered, about 3 washings on things that are.
