It was great during the 2 week free trial, but it helped us figure out when she'd next need a nap, and since the trial ended we've been pretty good at just tracking it on the app ourselves and keeping an eye on her wake windows. So haven't needed to pay for it
I’m currently trialling this and so far yes it’s useful. I have been able to try and get ahead of the overtired cries and upset
I found the two week trial very useful and got me knowing round about how long my baby’s wake window was. I found it difficult when the nap would last longer, how the day would go without the free trial. I ended up downloading another app called ‘Napper’ which calculates the nap times for free. I probably would have paid for huckleberry if I didn’t find napper.
I used it for about a month and became a bit obsessed. It stressed me out more than it was worth and I’d spend every wake window thinking and dreading his next nap. Every baby and every day is different and the app doesn’t account for that in my opinion. I’ve learnt my little boys tired cues properly now and am able to get him down to nap with little to no fuss. I also don’t stress about how long he’s sleeping because if he’s content why should I? I found that when using the app his naps would only be 30 mins because he was undertired/overtired, following his cues we get 45-120 minute naps now. Just my experience though x
@Melanie I downloaded napper after reading your comment, and I love it! It’s better than huckleberry in that it adjusts baby’s scheduled naps and bedtime based on how their day is going.
Until you get to know your LO’s sleep schedule, I vote yes. The sleep analysis and custom schedules are fantastic as well
