Something different gender reveal

Hi all, My partner and I are looking for a way to reveal the gender to our families but aren't really interested in the conventional stuff that's popular currently - the cannons, balloon pops, etc etc. Does anyone have any ideas or experiences of doing something a bit different? Thanks!

I had an idea of doing like scratch cards for family or cupcakes for them if we were going to know ourselves and reveal it to them!

We did a golf ball as my other half’s really into golf

I made a video with pics from the pregnancy and had songs about becoming a parent in the background. We ended with an image of pink confetti with George Ezras "hold my girl" and then an image of me and my hubby wearing tshirts and holding pink balloons saying its a girl. We hired a projector screen and had our family/friends gather round to watch it. Was really emotional and also something we could keep. 12 weeks pregnant with our 2nd so will involve our little girl this time somehow.

I’ve seen someone pour like ‘champagne’ in the colour of the gender into tiered cocktail glasses

We didn’t want a huge party or get together to announce the gender. We booked a private scan at 18 weeks and took our parents and all found out together in the room. We then text the rest of our family and friends and then put a post on social media stating the gender. We didn’t want anything big and this was perfect for us. Very emotional and intense x

This isn't different, but I really want to do something just me and my partner. Like get a cake and cut into it to find out the gender. And then share with family maybe with a video the guess from black and white to the color.

I saw someones where the parents wore white and their kids and family etc shot them with super soakers and when it hit their clothes it was blue

My sister and her husband did silly string with the caps removed.

We just got our son (18 months old) to pull out a onesie saying 'little sister' whilst he worn one saying 'big brother', it was an actually surprise gender reveal no one knew we invited them around for it they just thought it was a bbq 🤣🤣 we didn't want a huge fuse leading up to it

We did little scratch cards that we posted to family and friends so they just received them in the post
