Remove the top rack does it fit standing up without that on? X
@Jess no 😩 I don’t know how else to sterilise it 🤷🏼♀️
@Sunita oh I never thought of that do you mix in the formula when it’s at already at the right temperature rather than mixing it with the boiled water first? X
Tip some boiling water into the bottle (an oz or so) then the rest tip into the rapid cool bottle to cool the rest, then when it’s cooled add it to the bottle. That way it can also be used multiple times while ur out without having to sterilise in between x
Can’t help with how to sterilise it as I don’t use one but there’s a tip so you won’t have to sterilise again as no formula will go in the bottle and the small amount added to the bottle with formula will just be the hot shot to kill the bacteria x
Could u fill a bowl and use Milton sterilising tablets? Xx
I wash it and then leave it to soak in a bowl of water with Milton as the lid can’t go through the hot sterilisers x
@Becky I have sterilising tablets but not Milton it’s Tesco own brand?
@Paige Tesco’s own brand would be fine, does the same job ☺️ I let mine soak for about 30 mins (NHS guideline) x
We use the Milton cold sterliser for it with tablets. And also don't use them for the actual formula just boiling water x
@Paige So I measure out boiling water in my tommee tippee bottle however many ounces/ml they drink. So for example if I'm making a feed for 100ml, ill add 100ml boiling water to the milk bottle (the measures inside the rapid cool flask aren't as accurate), then from the 100ml i pour it into the rapid cool flask leaving only 30ml behind in the milk bottle. I then tip in the formula into the milk bottle and give it a shake. Once the remaining boiling water in the flasj has cooled i then pour that into the milk bottle. This way you dont need to sterilise the flask and you only need to pack one flask as you can normally get boiling water from somewhere if out and about. I bought the kit which comes with 2 rapid cool flasks and a grey thermal flask for boiling water. Hope that makes sense and helps
@Sunita yes thank you so much c
Personally I don't put milk in mine Just boiling water to cool it dowm in which case i don't sterilise as the boiling water does that
