Inositol use without pcos?

Hi, just wondering if it’s okay to take inositol without pcos? Been reading up online that apparently it boots fertility and promotes ovulation, is this actually true? I’m due to ovulate on the 13/5/23 and I don’t want to end up messing my cycle up, which then messes up my chances this month. Has anyone with or without pcos used these and found they helped? Been Ttc for 10 months x

You won't mess up your cycle by taking inositol and it's not specific for those with pcos either, simply recommended for those with it but not strictly for that.

@Mima I was just worried that it would either make ovulation later or earlier or not at all. Is it worth giving it a try? x

I am also curious, I just order something like that also. Also inositol with d chiro great for mood and depression. That's why I bought it

@Kelly that’s why I need to be careful because apparently it sometimes has the opposite effect and makes mental health worse? Just need some more information before taking it I think x

Thing is with supplement, everyone reaction is different. People say maca root makes you very horny. Many swears by it. It did nothing for me. Absolutely nothing. I get the fear. 100%. Both Natural and mordern medicine really have no guarantee. Just research why it works and doesn't, and go from there. I never heard it makes mental health worse

@Kelly all I can do then is take it and see what happens! Spent a couple hours looking it up and most things about it were good so may aswell give it a go x

@Kelly did think about Maca aswell but have a feeling it’s going to be expensive🤣x

@Chloe don't get me started on cost. I spend way to much money on supplement for me at the end doesn't work. I am wishing and sending baby dust your way

@Kelly I just spend so much on tests and opks😫 wishing you the best x

@Chloe you should be fine regarding ovulation.

@Chloe i did toooo !!! It's crazy. I was not prepared for this

I do have PCOS so cant comment too much on how it will effect your body if you dont have PCOS. But I was trying to get pregnant for over 2 years and started taking Inositol with D chiro, vitamin D 4000Ui, N-Acetyl Cystenie and magnesium supplements and 3 months later I got pregnant, so I'm a big advocate for these supplements as they worked for me, I tried many things in the 2 years and this appeared to be the one to work :) sometimes it's all trial and error to find what will work for your body @Chloe

@Alex I am currently taking s'moo ovary support. Which hsd NAC, vitamins D, & magnesium for a few months. Now starting implementating inositol with D chiro in it. I do not have PCOS, but I do have PTSD, which I self diagnose myself as PCOS adneral. My friend use combo what you use and got pregnant. I hope I get the results of a positive pregnancy. @Chloe you can chat with me if you would like mental support and share our experience

Folate is better than folic acid. Folic acid is synthetic - folate is natural

i have cystic ovaries, no pcos. i have been taking inositol and my ovulation remained on the same day since then. i have been taking all sorts of supplements as we have been trying for 3 yrs and i am still not ready to start ivf journey. wish everybody luck 🤞🍀👶
