Go prep vs rapidcool?

The nuby rapidcool seems to be virtually impossible to get right now. Has anyone tried the new tommee tippee go prep? It looks to be the same but would love to hear some reviews

I have both, I definitely recommend the prep machine for home especially night feeds & Nuby for going out! Amazon prime has the rapid cool in stock x

I have the prep machine and probably going to buy the nuby one for going out and when we go on holiday. I love the prep machine

Thanks all, we have the prep machine already (couldn’t live without it!!) but the go prep is the new portable one for our and about. We used readymade bottles with my first if we were out but my new little one is in comfort milk so no readymade bottles are available. Hoping to get either the rapidcool (out of stock everywhere I look!) or the new go prep but haven’t heard any reviews on the go prep yet

We have the prep machine for during the day but then the midwife advised using a flask while out and about and overnight so either time once they have a bottle you make the next one with the boiling water and then it’s ready and cool for when it’s the next feed. That was the midwife’s advice and cheaper than buying either the nuby or the prep go x

@Emma that’s what we’re doing at the minute but when out for the day we don’t have enough flasks/cooled boiled water etc so wanting something that can cool down boiled water as we can get boiled water in cafes etc if we run out

@AmberA🌈👶🏽❤🦋 haven’t heard of this one but will take a look. The nuby and the goprep are both cheaper than this though

I have the go prep and it’s really good. I have the kit so the hot one and cold one.

@Imogen thank you. I’ve been looking at both and have pretty much come to the same conclusion!

Hi @Jackie which one did you go for in the end? Any recommendations? My friend has used the nuby and said it comes out too hot to drink? X

We went with the rapid cool. But I’ve been using it for the hot shot method rather than making up the formula in it. So pouring in the required amount of boiling water, then pouring 20ml into the bottle, adding formula to the bottle and shaking it up. Cooling the rest of the boiling water in the rapid cook then adding that to the formula mix in the bottle before giving it a final shake. That way it doesn’t need sterilized between each use during the day when we’re out. It can someone’s need a few mins to cool a bit but I find 20ml for a hot shot for a 5oz bottle will be ready in under 5 mins

Anyone tried them both? New go prep or rapid cool-I am deciding too? X
