I think so! My daughter was able to fit in it until just recently at 2.5 when she finally hit the height limit. I will say that it’s a heavy car seat even with an infant in it but I have no other car seat of that style to compare it to. Once she got bigger, we stopped using the stroller part and just left the car seat on the base in my mom’s car so she had a car seat to use. By then we had a joovy kooper stroller that is better suited for toddlers and an evenflow revolve 360 car seat in our main car. I’d say the doona is worth it if it’s not too hard for you to lift it out of the car. I relied on my husband a lot to help with that.
My sons physical therapist says no because they never get out of their car seat. It can contribute to flat spots on their head.
