I’m also at UCLH at the moment and due in June. I haven’t seen the same Midwife each time but have felt the care has been really good and attentive. At my last appointment I did ask about if I chose to have an elective section on whether I would be sent to Whittington and they said probably not and would stay at UCLH. She said in June it’s not as busy though compared to other months. I’ve got my next midwife appointment this week and going to ask the same question and see what they say again. I also had two other friends that had their babies there and both had a good experience.

I am under UCLH atm and everyone has been so kind and attentive during the pregnancy. If you want to see the same midwife each time then UCLH isn't the place for you but I feel well taken care of and listened to. They picked up on my severe morning sickness too and referred me to a specialist clinic too. You can only get through on the phone to the emergency midwife line but they have an email address for general enquiries. Can't speak on the birth experience as that is yet to come!
